About This Website and the People Behind It
Clarifying Reality moves us beyond the worldviews handed down by our ancestors to reveal a deeper, more integrated understanding of our existence.
It bridges the analytical rigor of science with the intuitive wisdom of spiritual traditions. And, it reflects on what history and philosophy tell us about our journey through the human experience.
The people behind this website believe we are near the tipping point in our evolutionary journey, where we are beginning to embark on a new, transformative journey toward a more unified world. It’s a time of radical change.
We can choose to align with the changes that immanent, and help to propel ourselves into a new era of unity, or we can fight to hang onto a past that offers little hope for a more viable future.
Humanity Stands a Crossroads
The way we perceive the world—through our assumptions, habits, and frameworks—provides context not only for our actions on a day-to-day basis, but for determining the course of our future as well.
If we continue to see things with the blinders most of us now seem to be wearing, our paths may well lead us to a dismal end. But by taking off our blinders, and acting in ways that align with reality for what it really is, there’s hope.
The good news is we have a choice.
More About This Website
Clarifying Reality is a space for exploring ideas related to making sense of life and reimagining the way forward. It’s divided into five sections, as follows:
- Making Sense of Life: Our understanding of the nature of reality is changing radically from how it has been envisioned in the past. Likewise, our worldviews are changing, and along with them our beliefs. But change doesn’t come easy. This section is about trying to make sense of it. It offers opportunities to explore our past with an eye toward the future, in areas spanning philosophy, religion, culture, science, and more.
- Looking Inside Ourselves: We don’t just live in the world—we shape it, often in ways we don’t realize. This section asks us to step outside our bubbles and examine how our beliefs, behaviors, and blind spots contribute to the very problems we want to solve. If we want meaningful change, we have to start by seeing ourselves clearly.
- Broadening Our Perspectives: No one exists in isolation. In an interconnected world, our choices ripple outward, affecting people and ecosystems far beyond our immediate surroundings. This section encourages thinking beyond national or personal interests, embracing a broader perspective that acknowledges our shared humanity and responsibility.
- Remaking Our Beliefs and Norms: The systems we live within—cultural norms, political structures, economic models—are not fixed realities; they are human-made, and that means they can be reshaped. This section explores how we can challenge outdated frameworks and build something more inclusive, adaptive, and meaningful.
- From Insight to Action: Change doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s driven by individuals and movements willing to challenge the status quo. This section highlights thinkers, activists, spiritual leaders, innovators, and everyday people who are already making strides toward a better future. Their stories serve as inspiration and proof that transformation is possible, given the willingness and commitment to change.
A Call to Action
This website is more than an exploration of ideas—it’s a call to action. By questioning our assumptions, expanding our perspectives, and learning from those who are leading the way, we can chart a course toward a future worth building.
The world will change whether we choose to engage or not. The question is: will we shape that change or let it shape us?
Pat Case
Producer | Author | Curator
Pat Case, the producer, author, and curator for this website, writes about the aspects of life that shape how we perceive and interact with the world and how those perceptions influence our journeys through life.
She explores the foundations of our belief systems and challenges us to rethink our constructs about life and our beliefs within the context of our emerging views on the nature of reality.
More about her background…
Pat’s lifelong career related to the challenges of managing change in business environments, puts her in an excellent position to understand that nature of change.
She knows that change is never easy. She knows it’s only possible if people are ready or have no choice in the matter.
That’s why Pat makes no secret of the fact that this website isn’t for everyone. It’s only for those who are ready to come to the table with an open mind, and willing to explore alternative—some would say radical—views related to building a better future.
More about the journey…
Pat takes readers on a journey through the foundations of our belief systems and challenges us to rethink whether or not our constructs about life, religion, spirituality, and reality hold up against alternative views.
In doing so, Pat offers perspectives on a range of paths people might choose to explore in their respective quests for understanding.
Pat asks us to set aside our preconceived views, think beyond the limitations of the boundaries we set, and wonder how life and reality might be different from what we believe it is.
She offers perspectives on what it would be like if we took off our blinders and viewed ourselves within the context of the entangled universe of which we are a part, inclusive of both the tangible and intangible forces that affect our lives.
Pat’s writing is imbued with a passion for understanding our purpose within the context of a much bigger reality than we can imagine.
She sees herself as an inquiring observer of the human condition, as well as a discussion facilitator, on a quest to help foster a deeper and broader understanding of the interwoven threads of our existence.
Her ultimate goal is to help us ensure a more viable future for ourselves and our planet.
About the Name
Clarifying Reality isn’t a brand or a business. It’s not about selling answers but about illuminating an emerging understanding of reality–an understanding that may help us build new frameworks for living in a modern world.
Our world is not static, and we are not static either. Our species continues to evolve—not just biologically, but in how we perceive, relate, and respond.
How we respond next to the circumstances we find ourselves in now, depends on how clearly we see the reality in which we are currently entangled.
